Responsible Gaming

Introduction

In order to ensure the protection of players against the negative effects that gambling may have on participants and to promote a responsible gaming environment, we are committed to implementing strict safety measures, including self-exclusion options, deposit limits, and self-assessment tools. These initiatives aim to prevent excessive gambling behavior and protect players, ensuring them a safe and balanced experience.

Our Philosophy

Our goal is to provide customers with a high-quality service so they can focus as much as possible on fun and entertainment. We strongly recommend that you do not engage in gambling without being fully aware of the risks and consequences involved. We consistently strive to offer customers the best possible gaming experience. All our games are designed with high-quality graphics and immersive sound effects, so that our players enjoy an authentic experience, just like in a real casino.

As we want to be a trustworthy, fair, safe, and transparent operator, we are firmly committed to promoting Responsible Gaming, recognizing that gambling may pose problems for certain categories of people. As such, we provide players with various tools, control methods, and measures that allow them to enjoy our services in a safe and manageable way. You can consult our “Know Your Limits and Take Action” section below.

Participation in gambling should have a recreational character and should not be perceived as a source of income. Please follow our advice:

  • Do not use funds intended for essential needs, such as housing, bills, or maintenance, for gambling.
  • Avoid trying to recover losses by increasing stakes, as this behavior may increase the risk of problematic gambling.
  • Do not gamble in situations that may impair your decision-making ability, such as depression, fatigue, anger, or under the influence of alcohol or medication.
  • Maintain a balance between gambling and other recreational activities so that gambling does not become your main concern.
  • Use the limitation or self-exclusion functions available to responsibly manage your access to gambling.
  • If you believe you are facing difficulties related to gambling, seek support from specialists in the field.

Protection of Minors

Applicable laws prohibit minors from participating in gambling. Therefore, we take all measures to prevent persons under 18 from using our services. We also ensure that all our promotional activity and advertising do not target people under 18.

The account registration process requires entering a date of birth that must always correspond to the minimum age of 18 or older. In addition, we require the user’s explicit confirmation that they are 18 years old.

We recommend limiting online time in the presence of minors under your care and installing parental control software to prevent their access to gambling. If a minor may gain access to a computer containing gambling software, we advise installing the following access control software to restrict minors’ access:

  • Sentry PC: www.sentrypc.com
  • How to install: http://www.sentrypc.com/support/install-3/
  • To prevent unauthorized access and to ensure compliance with current gambling regulations, please follow these precautionary measures:
  • Do not allow minors unsupervised access to devices used for gambling platforms.
  • Use secure passwords to restrict access to gaming accounts.
  • Do not allow persons under 18 to participate, directly or indirectly, in gambling activities.
  • Inform and educate minors about applicable gambling regulations and the risks associated with their participation.
  • Protect access to online gaming accounts with a password and avoid exposing this information improperly. Ensure that the gaming session is closed and not left unattended in the presence of minors.

Prevention and Protection of Players

To participate in gambling, you should be in a balanced psychological and emotional state, in order to think clearly and react appropriately. Gambling becomes extremely dangerous when you consume alcohol or other substances that may affect mental clarity. For example, a player under the influence of alcohol is at higher risk of making irrational gambling decisions. This can also increase the risk of developing compulsive gambling behavior.

If you currently have or have had problems with alcohol or other substances in the past, we advise you to avoid gambling. External pressures may also interfere with the enjoyable nature of gambling, such as gambling to achieve a certain social status or to fit into a social group. These influences may have negative short-, medium-, and long-term effects.

Participation in gambling must remain a personal choice, with recreation and entertainment as the main purpose. The time and money you invest in gambling should not take priority over or interfere with your family, professional, or social commitments. Gambling should not affect your work, studies, family or parental responsibilities, endanger your health, or prevent essential activities for your well-being, such as sports, a balanced diet, and rest. It is essential to set your priorities correctly and maintain a healthy balance for yourself and those around you.

Know Your Limits and Take Action!

Because we want to offer as much help as possible in managing responsible gambling, we provide several restriction tools and functions. Please review the options we offer below and choose the one that works best for you.

It is vital to set limits and know when to stop. It is the responsibility of each player to be aware of the importance of setting personal time and loss limits. This way, you can avoid excessive spending and excessive time lost on gambling, or losing the enjoyable aspects of the activity. It is important to set clear limits and respect them, in order to avoid accumulating debt due to gambling.

Excessive gambling can be very harmful. If you cannot control your gambling, we recommend not participating in our games.

Limits: Set Deposit Limits

Take control of gambling by setting your own deposit limits, so you can control how much money enters your gaming account. You can choose to set these limits daily, weekly, or monthly.

Steps to activate the Deposit Limit option:

  • Log in to your gaming account.
  • Access the Responsible Gaming section in My Profile.
  • Select Deposit Limits.
  • Adjust settings to set the timeframe and deposit limits.
  • Save changes.

Deposit limits can be decreased, increased, or removed entirely.

Requests to lower deposit limits become effective within 24 hours after saving the setting. Requests to increase a previously applied limit will be implemented after at least 48 hours. Customers can always contact customer service for guidance in setting their desired limits.

Self-exclusion: Take a break from gambling for as long as you need

If you feel you need a longer break from gambling, you can opt for self-exclusion, a measure that restricts access to your gaming account temporarily or permanently, to protect your mental health and financial situation.

Through self-exclusion, your account will remain restricted for the selected period, which cannot be less than six months, and will not be reactivated during that time (unlike a standard account closure request).

After self-exclusion, available funds in the gaming account will be returned. Check the Cashier section for details on withdrawal limits.

Steps to activate Self-Exclusion:

  • Log in to your account.
  • Go to My Profile > Account.
  • Access the Self-Exclusion option.
  • Select one of the self-exclusion options.
  • Select Close Account to activate the option.

The self-exclusion request will be applied through your account and will take effect across all domains operated by Crowd Entertainment Limited. Once activated, self-exclusion prevents access to any domain managed by Crowd Entertainment Limited for the duration of the exclusion period.

To honor our commitment to responsible gaming and legal compliance, we will enter your details in the register of players who requested permanent or temporary exclusion from gambling.

For more information on self-exclusion, please consult the Responsible Gaming section at https://onjn.gov.ro. For support and counseling, we recommend contacting specialized centers, with more information available at: https://www.sfatulmedicului.ro/clinica/bucuresti/tratamentul_dependentei_de_jocuri_de_noroc-fse706.

How do I request reactivation of my account after the self-exclusion period ends?

You will receive an automatic message when the self-exclusion period ends, giving you the option to access your account again. If you do not receive the message, please contact our customer support team.

You may request removal from the Register of players who requested permanent or temporary exclusion from gambling in order to regain access to gaming accounts only after at least 6 months have passed since registration.
